All I want is to sit and read A Midsummer Night's Dream in the park.
Summer is the time for Shakespeare. Though the histories may be fitting in the winter months, the summer suitably houses them all. I miss last summer's Hamlet, I miss Ophelia's white dress. I miss memorizing lines in the evenings, and discovering how wonderfully filthy the text is. Should I challenge myself to read the complete works this summer?
In the meantime I will re-watch the genius that is Slings and Arrows, featuring Paul Gross and Rachel McAdams among other fine Canadian actors. I highly suggest you do the same:
